Comments From Dan411:
This bat felt stiff, both in the handle and barrel compared to my Greinert dual stamp (white and red) when hitting it the first two times. Distance was a little better the second time, as was the sound. After the third round of BP, it now has around 200 cuts on it. The bat is really starting to open up. Still has a stiff handle, but the barrel is starting to soften, and the sweet spot is expanding as well. It's more toward the end cap, which I like. The sound is unreal, very loud crack, even with the 52's! Just seems to be getting better and better with distance. The bat swings slightly end loaded, being more on the balanced side for a Combat. It feels heavy in the hands, but lighter through the swing. Durability is a plus so far, with no signs of tracking, webbing, or end cap separation. One last thing to add, I really like the original grips. The stitched grips are nice, and weren't replaced with Lizard Skins as I often do. I wish I would have tried Combat sooner!
